I want to take this opportunity to thank each participant for this year’s successful tournament. So many people come together to make this event one of the best oilfield fishing tournaments our industry has. Special thanks goes to Mr. Gary Clouse of Phoenix Boats and Mercury Marine. Without their support and participation, we would not have been able to give away such a nice grand prize. I would also like to thank Mr. Todd Driscol and Lowrance Electronics for supplying the HDS 5’s for the boat. I also want to extend a very sincere “thank you” to Shipps Marine, and Mr. Brent Abernathy and his crew for being a big part of our event. They brought several boats in from Gladewater, TX in order for us to offer the demo rides again this year. Not only does this add value to our event, but it’s a chance to show off some of the best bass boats on the market today. I don’t believe there is another boat manufacture in business today who has a better product and certainly not for the price Phoenix Boats are offering. If you are considering purchasing a new boat in the near future, please give Phoenix Boats and Shipps Marine an opportunity to work with you. As a Phoenix owner myself, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Congratulations to our tournament winners:

2nd Place Team – Donnie Bates-Jason Garner 33.40 lbs
3rd Place Team – Aaron Zeitler - Mark Weldon 28.32 lbs

Folks, I don’t have the proper words to adequately thank Teresa Biscamp and Suncoast Resources for supplying the food and preparing the meals all three days. The food was outstanding and Teresa and her crew did a fantastic job in serving our fishermen with some of the best meals in the lake area. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!
Next, I want to thank all our board members for their dedication and hard work this year. Several people from three different states come together to put this event on. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for all you do. ROC would not be what it is without your hard work throughout the year.
Next year is going to be even better than this year and years past. We will be working with Eventbrite to offer onsite credit card processing. Hopefully this will be of value to the many participants who prefer to pay by credit card and also expedite registration to better serve you.
At the risk of being repetitious, I want to sincerely thank each of you, whether you were a participant or board member. Our goal for 2014 is to have a maximum of 250 teams and I feel confident we will attain this number, but it is going to take all of you spreading the word and inviting your oilfield friends who may not be participating to come join the fun.
